Punto Verde has always invested in research and development of organic agronomic techniques, for the cultivation and production of alfalfa and fodder, alternating cereal crops to ensure proper rotation of the land.
The area of activity extends across the entire province of Ferrara for over 4,000 hectares, all organically managed. This area of the Po Valley, notoriously known for the superior quality of its fodder, guarantees the plant a greater protein property and consequently a limited fibrous contribution (less lignin).
The land is worked with the latest generation equipment - tractors with anti-trampling tires, self-loading wagons that do not damage the plant, cutter bars on reversible tractors, etc. - this allows us to optimize the working times based on the maturation of the product, and to take care of the quality in all the phases of production.
